The US Highway Patrol will soon announce a list of highways that will be closed to traffic and pedestrians for the 2020 holiday season.
The list is due to be released on March 31.
Here are the highways that are expected to be shut down for the holiday season:US Highway 101 – Oregon Highway 101 is one of the country’s busiest highway corridors, carrying nearly 3 million vehicles a day.
It connects Portland to Vancouver and Vancouver to Seattle.
The state is currently working to extend the highway, which was originally built in 1954.
The closure of the highway is a direct result of a wildfire that ravaged the northern Oregon town of Burns last November.
The road is also the primary route for many travelers to and from Seattle, where the wildfire forced the closure of Interstate 5.
In 2018, the Oregon Highway Patrol issued a warning to drivers that there was a very real possibility that their vehicles would not be able to travel to or from Burns.
The agency also announced that the highway would be closed for the first time in 20 years, which is expected to result in a major spike in traffic congestion in the area.
As a result of the wildfire, Oregon Governor Kate Brown announced in February 2018 that the state was reopening Highway 101.
