A new Arizona highway is now closed for several weeks after a fatal crash on Friday.
The Highway 93 bridge was closed from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.M. on Friday, but traffic was being directed onto another freeway, according to Arizona Department of Transportation spokesperson Laura Miller.
Miller said the freeway reopened after 1:30 p.m., and that the highway was expected to reopen by the end of the week.
The freeway is a one-lane road that goes through the mountains.
The Arizona Department Of Transportation is working with the Federal Highway Administration to make sure the highway is safe and reliable.
Miller said there were no delays or major incidents.
