A friend is dying on the side of a highway after falling off a highway guardrail and breaking his neck.
Police say 27-year-old J.T. Cairns, who was on his way to a family friend’s wedding, was crossing a highway in the middle of nowhere on Interstate 10 just after 6 p.m.
Friday when he struck the guardrail.
He died at the scene.
A few blocks away, his passenger, 26-year old Jordan Soto, was pronounced dead.
He had been trying to cross the highway when he hit the guardrails.
Police believe the man who was driving was drunk.
He’s facing multiple charges, including murder.
