A road closure will be in place between 10am-2pm, from April 20th to March 23rd.
The closure will affect some major roadways in Arizona and the New Mexico state, including the U.S. Highway 520 in Baja California.
It will also affect other roadways including I-15, the U-turn lanes, and I-16.
There is also a traffic signal in place for I-20, which will be closed.
A spokesperson for the Arizona Department of Transportation says the closure will help with traffic congestion, especially during the weekend.
The spokesperson said the state is still determining how many closures will be required.
The Arizona Department is also issuing a Red Alert.
The Red Alert is an alert that indicates a highway closure is imminent and is being considered an emergency for motorists.
The warning is issued to inform motorists of the closure and warn them to seek alternative routes.
A Yellow Alert indicates a more immediate emergency, and is issued if a hazardous situation develops.
If there is no emergency, the Yellow Alert is issued with no warning, but warning signs will be posted.
Some drivers will also be advised to avoid traffic in areas where a closure is occurring.
The National Weather Service says it will be a sunny day for the closure, with temperatures expected to be in the mid-70s.
The forecast is also looking good for the rest of the week.
We will update this post as more information becomes available.
