The AFLW is coming back.
And so is the AFLWA.
The AFLWA is getting a new name, and the AFLW will be renamed the AFLFWA.
The AFLFAA and AFLWA are set to rebrand and merge to create the AFL and AFLW.
The new names are designed to highlight the importance of the sport to young people in Australia.
The ABC understands the AFL is in discussions with the AFL about the new names.
The names will be announced later this year, with an official announcement likely in the first half of next year.
The two sports have been in different stages of development since the merger in 2012, with each league using its own name for the sport.
But both have emerged as some of the most popular and successful in the game.
The introduction of the AFL as a league and the merger of the two entities to form the AFL will mark a shift in how we see ourselves as a nation.
And the new AFLFSA will offer a much-needed boost to both leagues.
The name change was announced in a statement from the AFL, which said it was a matter for the AFLPA.
It said the AFL “will be working with the Australian Government to further discuss the naming rights arrangements and to explore the feasibility of a potential name change”.AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan said the new name was designed to “reflect the Australian sporting landscape”.
“We are confident the AFLFA will make a compelling argument that the AFL’s name is in the best interests of the game,” he said.
“Our game has been built on the strength of a strong, vibrant, community-driven culture and the ability to attract a broad spectrum of fans.”
In the past, the AFL has used the name “FLA” in the AFL standings to differentiate the AFL from the other leagues.
But a recent survey found most AFL fans were unfamiliar with the name.
The Australian Football League was the only AFL to have its name changed in more than a decade, when the AFL renamed itself the AFL.
The current AFLFPA is the first body to use the name change to promote its game.
Its chief executive, Steve Kelly, said the league would continue to use its name “in the best interest of the player-organisations and the game”.
“The AFL is the only professional sport in Australia that has an official league name and the name will reflect this,” he told ABC Radio Melbourne.
“The AFLFA, in particular, has a strong position on this.
The word ‘AFL’ is synonymous with the game in Australia and I think it’s important that the word ‘FLA’ continues to be used to describe our game.”
Kelly said the name was a reference to the “first 100 years” of the organisation, which included “the most important period in Australian football history”.
“It’s time to go back to the basics and be bolder,” he added.
